 We bring industry leaders together on key regulatory issues, advocate for favourable regulatory conditions, and help companies to navigate ANZ’s regulatory framework - ensuring it keeps pace with emerging food technologies.

We made submissions that contributed to three critical changes in the food safety code, including:

- A Dedicated regulatory pathway: FSANZ has introduced new standards to The Food Standards Code to create a dedicated regulatory pathway for cultivated meat.

- Widening of accepted labelling terms: FSANZ revised its approach to product labelling, building in flexibility to enhance alignment with industry preferences and international markets.

- Consistency of labelling terms: FSANZ adopted our recommendation to require consistent terminology in both the food name and ingredients lists.
